Round Rock, Texas, is a city of 100,000 people on the eastern edge of the lovely Texas Hill Country. Entertainment includes nearby lakes and parks, cultural amenities, and the Austin, Texas, live music scene.

Round Rock is within easy commuting distance of local and Austin vocational and degree-based colleges:

  1. About 10 schools offer hairdressing, cosmetology and massage programs
  2. There are specialized schools for careers in foreign languages, culinary arts, computer learning, and court reporting
