If it wasn't for the Air Force base in Wichita Falls, Texas, you might think the city was a college town. With three main colleges in this city of more than 104,000 people, Wichita Falls can prepare residents to meet their career goals and to enter the workforce.

The main university in Wichita Falls is Midwestern State University. MSU has 6,182 students, 73 degree programs (both undergraduate and graduate), low tuition (below $8,000 a year in-state), and 13 sports' teams. Vernon College also has a presence in town. The Wichita Falls' campus offers a variety of associate degrees and certificates ranging from programs in business management to welding, and costs half the price as MSU.
