If you are looking for a small town setting while earning your degree, Lehi, Utah can be your place. With a population of 47,407, the city is set at the base of the Wasatch Range in the Rockies. Lehi residents take their education seriously, with 35.3 percent having a bachelor's degree or higher. This is higher than the 29.4 percent for the state as a whole.

Just less than five miles from Lehi, Utah is Provo College, which has five different schools of study including business, health care, health and wellness, justice, and design and technology. However, there are just 250 undergraduates at Provo College. Tuition runs around $13,977. If you are looking for a larger campus, Brigham Young University in Provo enrolls 30,409 students. The annual tuition is $4,560. BYU is known for its language program, offering courses in 55 languages. The campus is close to many opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.

With an unemployment rate of only 2.9 percent, Lehi, Utah looks like a promising city in which to study, live and play.
