Wisconsin trade and career schools offer training in many desirable areas. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, some of the most popular occupations in the state require degrees from trade colleges, such as those listed below. Sought-after Wisconsin careers include a variety of computer positions, art and design, healthcare, protective services and personal care.

1. Anthem College. Based in Milwaukee, Anthem College provides students with hands-on training in the areas of healthcare and criminal justice. The school's professional staff offers students education in a real-world environment.

2. Herzing University Students attending Herzing have a variety of options from which to choose, including degrees in radiologic and surgical technology, therapeutic massage, physical therapy, medical assistance, billing and medical laboratory technician services, drafting and design, dental hygiene, criminal justice and computers.

3. ITT Tech. Two main campuses for this school exist in Wisconsin. Not only does this educational facility offer a myriad of computer classes, including drafting, design, networking and programming, it also provides training in web development, E-business, multimedia and criminal justice.

4. Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Located in Greenbay, this school offers degrees in areas, such as dental hygiene, physical and respiratory therapy, metal and jewelry arts.

5. Tech Skills. This school specializes in IT training and Computer certification, offering certificates in security, systems administration, systems engineering, database development and design, and technician skills.

6. Milwaukee Career College. Providing medical career training programs, this school offers students education and certification in several specialties, including instruction in becoming a medical assistant, a pharmacy technician, and a medical billing and coding specialist.

7. Regency Beauty Institute. Regency offers students state-of-the art cosmetology training in fully-equipped facilities that replicate upscale salons. This educational facility is designed to train students in the entire beauty business. The Madison campus is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS).

8. Sanford-Brown College. Located in Milwaukee, this educational institution offers career training in several health care areas, including cardiovascular sonography and technology, diagnostic medical sonography, medical billing and coding, and radiography. They also provide degrees in criminal justice and business administration.

9. The Art Institute of Wisconsin. This educational facility provides training in several art specialties, including graphic design, fashion design and media arts in the areas of digital filmmaking, video production, animation and web design.
