With a population of little more than 3,000 residents, the small community of North Wales, Pa., is situated in the southeastern part of the state. Conveniently located between Bethlehem and Philadelphia, the borough is near many postsecondary institutions.

To get your career off to a quick start, try Lansdale School of Business, which offers certificates and associate degrees in majors such as accounting, computer graphics, legal assisting, marketing, telecommunications, and more. The school in North Wales has nearly 500 enrolled students. Another consideration for starting your postsecondary education is Montgomery County Community College, located only three miles away in Blue Bell, Pa. This junior college awards associate degrees in arts, fine arts, general studies and the sciences. When done, you can look for a job if you have career-ready skillls or use your credits to transfer to a four-year school.
